New Arrivals 5/2/2016

by Alexander "Advanced Plus" Smith

Android: Mainframe is a strategic area control game where your objective is to hack into a vulnerable network and grab as much valuable data as possible. Each cybercriminal will try to access and control the largest portion of the board by placing nodes and creating partitions to keep other thieves out. The smooth mechanics and the cyberpunk setting of the Android universe give this quick strategy game a great thematic flavor. Definitely give this one a try!

Kodama: The Tree of Spirits is a game where players will use overlapping cards to add branches to a tree and satisfy the needs of the spirits that dwell within. Clever placement will help you score the most points and leave room for future growth as your tree's canopy enlarges. The art is beautiful, and lends itself wonderfully to the unique mechanic of overlapping cards to seamlessly expand the artwork of the tree.

The Warren isn't your typical role-playing game. There are no knights, dragons, elvish princes, or mystical swords...well, there might be, but most of those things go unnoticed by rabbits. Yes, you and your pals are soft, adorable, hyper intelligent bunnies trying to survive and stay together in a world of cats, harsh weather, humans, and other rabbits. Check this book out if you're looking for a little something different in your role-playing sessions.

The Pokémon XY Trainer Kit: Pikachu Libre and Suicune is the perfect way to help new players learn the popular Pokémon trading card game. Included in the set are two 30-card decks that can be played against each other or combined to make one full deck. You'll also find damage counters, a playmat, two holographic cards, a coin, and much more in this pack. And did I mention that one of the holographic cards is a Pikachu in a lucha libre wrestling mask? Because it's true, and that's AWESOME.

The new data pack for the Android: Netrunner living card game has arrived! Salsette Island brings new goodies to corporations and runners of all factions, adding new possibilities for deck building. With the debate on clone rights growing ever more heated in the Indian Union, players will need to use every clever trick and ally available to them

Back in stock, we have one of our all-time favorites; Click Clack Lumberjack! It's been far too long since we've had the pleasure of carefully chopping plastic bark off a toy tree, I can't wait to tap at those unstable logs with a miniature ax.
